Winter Sunshine - sending a bright card to cheer on a friend and bring a little sunshine.

The power or receiving something happy in the mail cannot be under stated. When you are getting bills, promotional materials, or nothing at all, to receive something nice can totally make someone's day.

Bringing together crafting supplies such as cute stamps and stencils along with some markers and a few ink colors can create something adorable and can be much easier to put together than you may think. I hope to inspire you to play with your supplies or be selective about new supplies that you get in order to be able to have fun in creating and delight in sharing that creativity with those you love.

This particular card was fairly simple to make and was a mixture of several older items that had been hanging out in my stash. The star of the show is really that stencil which I filled in using a few different shades of distress ink and distress oxide ink. The background helps this older gorjuss stamp shine bright and look even more adorable and the sentiment, in an equally bright color is from an older stamp set that had been buried in my stash for a little bit.

Sometimes we forget about the gems that we have sitting stored away somewhere so as we are gearing up in this new year, may we remember to make beautiful things with what we have, send joy to those we love, and get ready to create new beautiful things together.

Wishing you a creative, crafty, and happy 2025. See you with lots of creative ideas in the new year!
