A commitment to smile more
Things are often so busy and hectic it gets hard to make time for yourself and to do the things that you enjoy. We constantly run around trying to finish the things we have to do, but the more I rush around the more I realize that it can't be all work, work, work.
The joy of making something special, the process of experimenting and mastering new techniques, the excitement of all the pretty colors, and the satisfaction of having completed my creation always bring a smile to my face.
With that in mind I made a commitment to myself to make time to create stuff - from a simple card or scrapbook page that can completed quickly to more complicated projects that take time to finish.
To celebrate my new commitment and to get the creative juices flowing I got some lovely American Crafts paper at Jo-Ann's. What beautiful things shall I create with these??
