When the stars finally align - and you catch a laser light show at the Planetarium (#MuseumMonday - sort of)

For those of you that don't know...I am a big Daft Punk fan. So many amazing memories in my life have had different Daft Punk songs marking the moment or bringing back all those different feelings

So when after YEARS of trying to a catch a Daft Punk laser light show, we finally caught a 10 pm showing during last month's Frost Science Laser Evening - it was glorious!

 

I am a fan of all their work, but their album Discovery is one of my favorite albums of all time. A true musical masterpiece - every single song is amazing in all its different ways. Whoever designed the show was clearly a fan of Discovery as well. While there were songs from their earlier albums and later albums including music from the Tron soundtrack (Did I mention my love of Daft Punk as a reason I was excited for the ride?), hearing my favorite song "Digital Love" and soul lifting anthem "One More Time" and the crescendo of  "Verdis Quo" and the cool vibe of "Something About Us" among the other classics made my night!
