Tron Tuesday! Checking out the newest ride at Walt Disney World

 We have entered the Grid!!!

Tuesday April 4th, 2023 is the official opening of TRON Lightcycle Run at Walt Disney World!

Have you heard about this ride? It is a roller coaster themed after Tron and its sequel Tron Legacy - that is an amazing new addition to Disney World! Located in Tomorrowland by Space Mountain, it is a  visually awesome and fast-paced ride.

Between the amazing futuristic look and the Daft Punk sound, another thing that makes this ride special is the fact that you are riding a light cycle and get to experience a different feel that a regular roller coaster. There is an option to ride a regular seat if needed or wanted. Note that this is a fast ride, it weaves but does not have any inversions. 

 

I am usually a bit of a chicken but I had been waiting for this ride for YEARS so there was no way that I was not getting on! I was lucky enough to get to ride during a passholder preview before it opened to general public and loved it so much, I am looking forward to the next time I can get on this ride.
