I made the best not so traditional Valentine's shirt (& publicly declared my love for Chris Evans)
One of the best parts about owning a Cricut is the ability to make things on a whim - and this last minute creation may be one of my favorite things that I have made. It was relatively quick and was a huge hit. The best part is that is a file available on Design Space that can be easily modified to suit your preference.
The image is a file that was set up so that you could modify the name of the heartthrob that you are mentally dating. I modified it a bit to make all the text one color and changed it to white to put on a pink shirt that seemed like a perfect Valentine's color. After cutting the white iron-on, I was able to use a small piece of red iron-on left over from another project to cut the heart. After a couple of minutes with the Easy Press 2 and voila - My Valentine's Day shirt!
I actually wore this shirt on Valentines's Day at Hollywood Studios and the shirt was a hit! Chip and Dale and Minnie Mouse loved the shirt, they are probably Chris Evans fans too! The awesome cast members and Photopass photographers were fans too, they alternated from cheering on my choices, hoping that one day I will meet Chris at the park (one of my dreams too!), and telling me who they are mentally dating from the Marvel multiverse!
Having a good day turn into a great day - thanks to an item that I had made was a great reminder of the power of making.
Have you ever made a Valentine's shirt before? Is there someone from the Marvel Multiverse that you would mentally date?
