Scrapbook Page Layout: Meeting Darth Vader

One of the coolest character meetings I have been able to do at Walt Disney World was meeting Darth Vader. While he can sometimes be seen around the parks, I was able to meet him through a special opportunity for Disney Visa cardholders that is offered at the Star Wars Launch Bay.

It is a simple layout made using mainly black, red, and gray which are colors used by the first order. The paper piecing image of Vader was made using an image from Cricut Design Space. I did alter it to have less layers to make it faster to put together I also used supplies from a dark side themed stationery set I had purchased at Box Lunch a few years ago and cut some icons out of the cardboard backing. Happy to have finally preserved this memory!

Disney World Tip: While this is currently being affected by Covid, I believe they are currently offering a special magic shot and hope that character meetings will return soon. Please note that the photo opp only operates certain hours so be sure to check when you get to the park so that you do not miss it. While there are other meet and greets, this is usually a relatively short line and offers a unique experience as a card perk. The Star Wars Launch Bay is located by the Animation Courtyard,   They will ask you to show them your card and you will get in line to see who the surprise character is for the photo opp. That time was Vader but I have gone one more time and met Kylo Ren (I still have to
